captain fantastic....
Kevin Nolan changed the game when he come on.......organised the team closed space down and led the team to a decent onslaught. we were unlucky not to nick it at the end.

I think if he keeps making the difference like that we will see him starting games soon enough. As a leader he has still got plenty to offer.

I like Nolan he has been the best captain we have had at the club for years.

The past few weeks have shown how good we can be without Nolan and Carroll.

farts

If you make enough wild statements, you are bound to get some degree of 'success' sooner or later.

Then it just comes down to having a selective memory.

Ahhh you mean like.....Ashton is finished after he got his ankle injury.....or...Anton Ferdinand ain't good enough.....or Mullins ain't good enough.

All of which were going against the grain for the majority on this forum when I said them.

Ahhh of course......."IT'S NOT NOBLES FAULT"

Now where have I heard that phrase before.

COOL HAND LUKE 1:54 Tue Nov 11
Re: captain fantastic....
Yes, but that's not Noble's fault, is it?

He should expect that his colleagues will do what every other side does these days i.e. make good use of blocking tactics to ensure the keeper can't run out 5 or 6 yards to collect the free kick.

Dare I say it (not that I am one of his apologists) but that is one of the things we could rely on from Nolan. Not often you get a decent goalbound header from a floater, but if you can prevent the keeper picking up the first ball then the second ball in theory is anybody's...

Hardly fair to use Villa for your reasoning farts... their man played out of his skin on Saturday tbf.

Nobles floating free kick from distance was useful for villas keeper saturday CHL
